Biography
Curtis Cheng is a Toronto-based musician who is versatile and passionate about creating immersive and memorable musical experiences. Completing his Bachelor of Music with Honours Specialization in Piano Performance at The University of Western Ontario, Curtis studied under pianist Allison Wiebe and under the instruction of many other professionals, including Dr. Christine Tithecott, Dr. Cathy Benedict, and Professor Patrick Murray. Through the guidance of his previous teachers, Curtis has had the opportunity to participate in multiple workshops and classes related to music education, such as studies in piano pedagogy, early music education, and music composition. As an educator, Curtis has had the pleasure of sharing his knowledge with students as a teacher at the Yamaha School of Music Canada

Beyond piano performing/teaching, Curtis creates his compositions that can intertwine with the narrative. When creating his compositions, Curtis believes in crafting his music is a vital part of the storytelling process.
